IT Project Coordinator – Grand Island

Home Federal Bank is currently hiring an IT Project Coordinator for our Grand Island location. The Project Coordinator will manage IT projects and provide support to the IT Manager.

Principal duties and responsibilities include:

  • Manage IT projects including implementations
  • Manage Home Federal Bank’s website
  • Serve as primary system specialist for the Bank or the core computer system
  • Research new IT products
  • Assist with building computers and with staff technology support
  • Write reports as requested by staff using core data

This is a fast-paced position and requires an individual with strong communication, technology, and organizational skills as well as the ability to multitask in order to be successful.

Universal Banker – Lincoln

Home Federal Bank is currently seeking a Universal Banker for our Lincoln location. This is a fast-paced positions. This position is Monday – Friday.

Principal duties and responsibilities include:

  • Acquire, originate and service deposit products for personal, retail and business customers.
  • products include deposit platform products and certificates of deposit,
  • acquire, originate and service consumer/personal loans,
  • underwrite and review of personal loans including auto, recreational and home equity.
  • assist Collection Supervisor in the management & collection of delinquent loans
  • sell Home Federal Bank’s virtual products,
  • a reasonable understanding of BSA/AML responsibilities as well as CIP, SAR & CTR

Skills needed to be successful include:

  • Strong sales aptitude and excellent interpersonal and communication skills,

  • regulatory and compliance knowledge preferred,

Commercial/Ag Loan Officer – Grand Island and Lexington

Home Federal Bank is looking for a Commercial/Ag Loan Officer for our Grand Island branch to continue to help our customers build their future at home. We are seeking an outgoing individual with excellent customer service skills and a strong sales aptitude.

Principal duties and responsibilities include:

  • building relationships with existing Home Federal Bank customers,
  • making contacts with future Home Federal Bank customers to build relationships,
  • acquire and originate commercial real estate and non-real estate loans,
  • business development of primary target market which includes small to medium size businesses,
  • market and cross sell all Home Federal Bank products and services including virtual products,
  • responsible for credit management and underwriting portfolio,
  • participate in the community in order to foster the relationship between the bank and community members.
