Principal duties and responsibilities include:
- Accurately and efficiently process customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, payments, money orders, cashier’s checks, and savings bonds
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable service by answering customer questions and sharing account information when appropriate
- Connect customers with the right team members for additional assistance, products, or services
- Verify and post night deposits, daily business deposits, mail deposits, and ATM bags in a timely manner
- Maintain and balance a cash drawer with accuracy and attention to detail
- Work toward Corporate, department, and personal goals
- Follow BSA/AML responsibilities, including accurate CTR and SAR awareness and reporting
- Complete other duties as assigned to support the branch and customer experience

- Strong customer service skills and a professional, welcoming communication style
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when handling transactions and cash
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Comfort using technology and learning banking systems
- Dependability, integrity, and the ability to follow policies and procedures
- An understanding of Home Federal’s products and services, or a willingness to learn them quickly
